Start with a drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, located approximately 15 km east of Kathmandu, which takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Bhaktapur is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, ancient temples, traditional pottery, wood carvings, and rich Newari culture. Explore Nyatapola Temple, the Golden Gate, and the beautiful palace courtyards.

After sightseeing in Bhaktapur, drive around 12 km for about 40 minutes to Patan Durbar Square.
